  • 1 large English cucumber grated
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Peel and grate the cucumber, then squeeze out any excess water.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the grated cucumber with Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped dill, olive oil, white vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Briefly stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  4. Taste the Tzatziki and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more salt, pepper, or dill to your preference.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the Tzatziki for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to chill.
  6. Before serving, give the Tzatziki another quick stir.
  7. Serve chilled alongside your favorite dishes.

Notes

For a thicker Tzatziki, strain the yogurt beforehand.
