Preparation
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, and cornstarch for the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Cooking
- Add beef strips to the skillet and cook until browned, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, and cook until the sauce thickens.
Serving
- Serve immediately with rice if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the beef in a tablespoon of the soy sauce mixture for 15 minutes before cooking.
