  • 15 ounces canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2-4 tablespoons cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation
  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt in a food processor.
  2. Blend until well combined, then gradually add cold water spoonful by spoonful until smooth.

Notes
