  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta

Instructions
  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta cooks, cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook until it is no longer pink and is lightly browned.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Toss the cooked fettuccine and chicken with the Alfredo sauce until everything is well coated.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water to reach desired consistency.
