- Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and place it in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Use a fork to flake the tuna until it is broken into small pieces.
- Add the mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, finely chopped red onion, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to the bowl with the flaked tuna.

- Season the tuna salad with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Serve the tuna salad immediately on bread, crackers, or lettuce wraps, or cover and refrigerate for later enjoyment.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of paprika or a sprinkle of fresh dill. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise to achieve your desired consistency. This tuna salad is best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
