Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki sauce.
  3. Add chicken wings to the bowl, tossing to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  4. Arrange the coated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has caramelized. Flip them halfway for even cooking.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving, if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the wings for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye on them to prevent burning. Adjust the amount of honey or ginger to your taste preference.
