Preparation
- Tenderize the chicken breasts by placing them between two sheets of plastic wrap and pounding them to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to create the seasoning mixture.
- Brush both sides of each chicken breast with the seasoning mixture, ensuring an even coating.
Grilling
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F) and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the hot grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours) after seasoning. If you don't have a grill, you can cook the chicken in a hot skillet or grill pan!
