Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and quarter the potatoes, then place them in a large pot and cover with cold, salted water.
  2. Bring the water to a boil and cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, or until they are tender enough to be easily pierced with a fork.
Mashing and Finishing
