  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves, minced garlic
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Cooking Steps
  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve this garlic butter chicken with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes, rice, or a green salad. For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
