  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place chicken breasts, chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, potatoes, minced garlic, dried thyme, and bay leaf into the slow cooker.
  2. Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and vegetables are tender.
  2. Carefully remove the cooked chicken breasts from the slow cooker and shred them using two forks.
  3. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir everything to combine.
