Ingredients
  

Churros Dough
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until a ball of dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
Frying
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pipe 4-inch strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting with scissors.
  3. Fry churros for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
Finishing
  1. Remove churros from oil and drain on paper towels.
  2. Roll the warm churros in cinnamon sugar.

Serve churros immediately with chocolate sauce or dulce de leche for an extra treat.
