- Add the mushroom and sage mixture to the basic stuffing and mix well before serving.
Apple & Sausage Stuffing
- Cook ground breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks, then drain any excess fat.
- Stir in diced apple and cook until slightly softened, then combine this mixture with the basic stuffing.
Cranberry & Pecan Stuffing
- After preparing the basic stuffing, fold in dried cranberries and chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
Notes
