Preparation
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then brush them with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C) and clean the grates thoroughly.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the hot grill and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the skin is crispy and releases easily.
  3. Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and flakes easily with a fork.
Finishing
  1. Transfer the grilled salmon to a plate, squeeze fresh lemon juice over each fillet, and garnish with chopped fresh dill.
