Preparation
- Peel and quarter the potatoes, then place them in a large pot and cover with cold, salted water.

Mashing

Notes
For extra flavor, warm the milk/cream before adding to the potatoes. Do not overmix the potatoes, as this can make them gluey. For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of garlic powder or chives.
