- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, then drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning according to package directions, and continue to cook until fully combined.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and crushed tortilla chips.
- Add the cooked and seasoned ground beef to the vegetable mixture.
- Pour salsa over the salad and mix everything thoroughly.
- Serve immediately with a dollop of sour cream on top.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add black olives, corn, or avocado to your taco salad. Adjust the amount of salsa and sour cream to your liking.
