Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
For Serving
  • 7 corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • lime wedges, for serving
  • salsa optional
  • sour cream optional

Method
 

Shrimp Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking the Shrimp
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas according to package instructions. Fill each tortilla with a portion of the cooked shrimp and shredded cabbage. Serve immediately with lime wedges, salsa, and sour cream, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp for 15-30 minutes before cooking. You can also add a sprinkle of fresh cilantro to your tacos for a pop of freshness.
