The "Growing" Process
- First, acquire a ripe pineapple from your local market, as pineapples do not "grow" grilled.
- Next, prepare the pineapple by removing the skin and core, then slice it into rings or spears.
- Sprinkle both sides of the pineapple slices with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Finally, grill the pineapple slices over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and tender.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can brush the pineapple with a little melted butter or coconut oil before grilling.
