Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves; set aside.
Mixing
- In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined and being careful not to overmix.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the pumpkin bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an extra touch, you can add chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the batter. This bread stores well at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
