  • 1 large jalapeño seeds removed for less heat
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Preparation
  1. Drain the canned diced tomatoes to remove excess liquid, ensuring a thicker salsa.
  2. Roughly chop the red onion, jalapeño (remove seeds if you prefer less heat), and garlic cloves.
  3. Coarsely chop the fresh cilantro.
Blending
  1. Combine the drained diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, jalapeño, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a food processor or blender.
  2. Pulse the ingredients until the salsa reaches your desired consistency, leaving it chunky or smoother based on preference.

Notes

For a spicier salsa, leave some of the jalapeño seeds. Adjust salt and lime juice to taste.
