  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk whole or 2%
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and chop potatoes into 1-inch pieces. Place in a large pot and cover with cold, salted water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. While potatoes cook, mince the garlic.
  3. Drain the cooked potatoes thoroughly and return them to the hot pot.
  4. Add butter, milk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the potatoes. Mash with a potato masher until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, use roasted garlic instead of raw. Adjust the amount of milk and butter to achieve your desired consistency.
