- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through; then, remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan to deglaze, and bring the sauce to a simmer.
- Return the cooked chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving hot.

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken thighs for 15-30 minutes before cooking. Always ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for food safety.
