Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast 🍞
  • 1/4 cup sugar 🍯
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 🧂
  • 1/2 cup milk 🥛
  • 1/4 cup butter 🍫
  • 1 egg 🥚
  • For the filling:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar 🏺
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 🌰
  • 1/4 cup melted butter 🍫
  • For the glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar 🍚
  • 1 tablespoon milk 🥛

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine the yeast, sugar, and warm milk. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it froths.
  • Mix flour, salt, and egg in a large bowl. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to form a dough.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread with melted butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll up the dough tightly and cut into even slices.
  • Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let them rise for 1 hour.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18-20 minutes, until golden.
  • Drizzle the rolls with the glaze and serve warm!

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed warm with a cup of coffee or tea.
