Pasta
  • 1 pound rigatoni
Sauce
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
Cheese
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and cook the rigatoni according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
Assembly
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rigatoni, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and Italian seasoning, mixing until evenly coated.
  2. Transfer half of the pasta mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish, then sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  3. Add the remaining pasta mixture on top, and finish by sprinkling the rest of the mozzarella cheese over the entire dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the sauce is heated through.
  2. Allow the baked rigatoni to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. This dish reheats well and is great for meal prep.
