  • Filtered water for soaking and rinsing

  • Sprouting lid or cheesecloth with rubber band

Sprouting Instructions
  1. Rinse the oat groats thoroughly under cold water, then place them in a jar and cover with filtered water for 8-12 hours.
  2. Drain the water completely and rinse the groats again, then place the jar in a dark, well-ventilated area.
  3. Rinse and drain the oat groats twice daily, ensuring good air circulation to prevent mold.
  4. After 2-3 days, tiny sprouts will begin to emerge; continue rinsing twice daily.
  5. By day 5-7, the sprouts should be about 1/2 to 1 inch long and ready for harvest.
  6. Rinse the harvested sprouts one last time, drain well, and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Ensure proper drainage and air circulation to prevent mold growth. Adjust soaking and sprouting times based on your climate and oat variety.
