Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season them with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, and the juice of half a lemon.
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and pour the lemon garlic mixture over each fillet.
- Slice the remaining lemon half into thin rounds and place a slice or two on top of each salmon fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can marinate the salmon in the lemon garlic mixture for 15-30 minutes before baking.
