Caramel Apples
- Wash and dry apples thoroughly, then insert popsicle sticks into the stem end of each apple.
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with wax paper and lightly coating it with non-stick cooking spray.
- Unwrap caramels and place them in a microwave-safe bowl with milk, then microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Carefully dip each apple into the melted caramel, rotating to ensure full coverage, and scrape excess caramel from the bottom.
- Place coated apples on the prepared baking sheet and allow them to cool and set completely.
- For an optional touch, melt chocolate chips in a separate microwave-safe bowl and drizzle over the cooled caramel apples.
Notes
For best results, make sure your apples are completely dry before dipping, as any moisture can prevent the caramel from sticking properly.
