  • 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1.5 lbs small red potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears of corn, shucked and halved
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large stockpot, bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil and add Old Bay seasoning, minced garlic, and the halved lemon.
  2. Add the halved red potatoes to the boiling water and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.
  3. Stir in the corn halves and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing them to become tender-crisp.
  4. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the pot and cook for only 2-3 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Carefully drain the entire contents of the pot into a large colander, discarding the lemon halves.
  6. Transfer the shrimp, potatoes, and corn to a large serving platter or bowl, and drizzle generously with melted butter before serving immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the boiling water. Fresh parsley can be added as a garnish just before serving.
