- Remove giblets and neck from the turkey, then pat the turkey dry with paper towels.

- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with rosemary, thyme, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Carefully spread the butter mixture under the turkey skin over the breast and thighs, then rub any remaining butter over the outside of the turkey.
